Light and Laser Therapy for Injury Recovery

HEAL FASTER AND FEEL LESS PAIN

Heal in half the time!

Laser therapy does two things really well: reduce inflammation and increase circulation. This means it is an excellent modality to use for injury recovery. On average, patients using traditional treatments plus phototherapy lasers heal in half the time of those using traditional treatments alone.

Want to know about the science? Let's look at a few studies:

Scientists in Greece studied a group of 47 soccer players with second degree ankle sprains. After 72 hours, patients treated with conventional treatment (rest, ice, compression, elevation) had a swelling reduction of 45.1 ml, while patients treated with conventional treatment plus photobiomodulation had a swelling reduction of 65.1 ml. That's a huge difference!

In another study, doctors treated student athletes with a total of 395 injuries, including sprains, strains, ligament damage, tendonitis and contusions, with LED photobiomodulation. Results were measured by pain level based on the visual analog scale (VAS), and the amount of time it took the students to return to their sports (RTP).

They found that on average, students athletes who were treated with photobiomodulation cut their RTP in HALF compared to the expected RTP for their injury. Subjects with knee injuries found that after 5 or 6 sessions, their pain went from a VAS score of 9-4 to ZERO.

PATIENT TESTIMONIALS:

"I had a bicep surgery at the beginning of the year. It was supposed to be a 12 month recovery and 6 months in I'm lifting and basically back to normal."

"The healing of my broken foot is somewhat of a miracle! I was told it would take up to a year for a broken foot to heal. I wore a corrective shoe and received light therapy 2x per week for 11-12 weeks before I stopped wearing the shoe. Definite closing of the bone was apparent on x-ray after only 7 months! My foot no longer gives me any trouble."

"I walked in to Advantage Therapy Solutions with significant neck pain following a car accident. Thirty minutes after treatment, the discomfort was reduced by half. Within hours, I regained the ability to turn my neck without pain. By that evening, I could hardly tell that the soreness ever existed. The experience was truly amazing! Thank you."

The therapy works by increasing ATP production, reducing oxidative stress, and restoring cellular respiration in damaged cells, allowing them to repair and return to healthy function.
