AXONAL HEALTH - Axons are nerve fibers. Their job is to send signals throughout the body. Just like other parts of the body, axons rely on blood supply to keep them healthy and functioning properly.
MYELIN SHEATH HEALTH - The myelin sheath is a fatty coating that protects the nerve fibers. Think of it as insulation around an electrical wire. When the myelin sheath doesn't get adequate blood supply it deteriorates. This can slow and even stop nerve signals.
